International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
The International Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) was formed in recognition of the need to learn from service providers around the world. In reviewing the mission statements and activities of other international aging organizations, it was determined that no one organization in the world existed solely to meet the needs of practitioners in aging. IAHSA has grown out of a belief that linking administrators and service professionals on a global perspective will enhance dignity and care for older persons and persons with disabilities, regardless of where they live. IAHSA is an international, not-for-profit educational and charitable organization with multinational composition both in governance and membership. IAHSA is headquartered in Washington, D.C., USA
