Mission and Ministry Program Church History      Schedule of Services      Eaton Senior Programs and the remaining members of West Alameda Community Baptist Church continue to support a full-time pastor and a part-time pastoral assistant who comprise our Mission and Ministry Team. While West Alameda Community Baptist Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of the USA, its outlook and ministry respect the religious and spiritual traditions of all faiths.      Grounded in the central Christian teaching that observance of the golden rule and the commandment to "love your neighbor as you love yourself" are how we love God, the church has created a unique ministry, which provides a "loving presence" in our communities. This ministry views our housing facilities as sacred places where all faiths are encouraged, respected, and nurtured. Our ministry continues to foster the kind of communities that value goodness, respect the very essence of each individual, and encourage all to become part of that which is greater than themselves.
